Where is the neutral safety switch is on a Nissan Maxima?
I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima, which sometimes will not start unless postponed neutral in and slammed into parks. I had a friend check and they said I need a neutral safety switch replace. I now do not know that part but where to find it on the car. Please help. I read the Chilton manual and it has a picture, but cannot tell if it is within or above the shift lever or motor or less.
Usually when the lever is, you would have the rubber boots to remove it. That is, if you find the switch between the two front seats next to the right leg.
