Can someone please tell me if the parts on a 1987 Chevy Blazer Chevy Blazer can exchange 1996?
They are both 4 WD vehicles. To more accurately be, I need to know if ring and pinion from a '87 Chevy Blazer (S10) on a 96 Chevy Blazer will work. If no one knows the answer, do someone who I could call and ask? I appreciate any help given. We have tried to take her home and drive down the street, it sounded like a jackhammer!
Assuming that you are talking about the GM 7.5 "/ 7.625" rear end then yes, should the ring and pinion are interchangeable. Its my understanding that GM used the same rear of '97. Remember that the installation program can use some hardship from the add back end, because actually the ring and pinion "Interrupted" in another stern.
