Rear Brakes Pontiac Montana sensitive than first thing in the morning?
I have a Pontiac Montana van - short before the brakes started to act in the back. If it sits overnight the next morning the rear brakes are really sensitive and it seems like I have no brakes on the front (new brake pads brake discs and less than 2000km). I wanted to inspect the rear, but recalled the same problem have a Grand Am. Once I drive it a bit, you would know nothing was wrong. Thoughts?
Have had the same problem on several cars that GM had the rear shoes. Wheel cylinders can and this should be changed first. It is not so expensive if you do it yourself or have a friend who can help. Moisture can collect in the cylinders and get it. The other thing I did, the problem have to fix is to turn the drums and then grind the shoes fit the drum. Many stores do not suppose it will "wear". Let us say that a drum brake rear, after it is turned on, it 11.025 cm. The shoes must be ground for a circuit of 11.025 inches to full contact to achieve. Any really good brake business would follow this procedure anyway, but the search for such a business is sometimes a challenge. You do not want . There Good Luck.
