does caffeine affect rowing performance especially during a race?
If you drink much coffee, your system is "tolerant caffiene," and it will make no difference. If you want to use caffeine to help you a push for the case, set (stop drinking coffee, tea, cola etc) before 4 or 5 days to delete it from your system. Then we have a hot, strong coffee last thing before you start the race. This will result in an A / your body to use fat as fuel, and B / not in your glycogen stores until later to eat into the competition, so your endurance is improved. During the race, drink, water, and if you can manage, a "Jaffa Cake" to help. Good luck.
