I am thinking about move to Brazil and work there in construction business, but not sure what is better, work in sum big company or as a contractor or registred my own company?
And what is the average salary there in construction as a carpenter, formen and civil engeneer with 11 years of experience?
I don't have problem with work permit as my wife is brazilian, we live now in Ireland, but not sure howe things will go there so if anyone can give me sum proximet nummbers?
Listen, I am Brazilian, and have been living in North America for over ten years -- I know how well a carpenter and a constructor get paid in the US and Canada; I am assuming it is the same in Ireland. You can't expect the same in Brazil, AT ALL, despite your experience.
If you get a job as a Civil Engineer, then OK, you will get paid well -- but as a foreman and a carpenter, you can expect to get very little (as in, a couple hundred a month.) If I were you, I would take the plunge and make your own company. There are plenty of good people to hire and plenty of projects to work from, and then you could make some good money.
