What is the difference between the performance with only headers and straight pipe?
straight pipes do provide more power then only the header?
I have always said that a number of tuned headers decreases back pressure resulting in a smoother flow exaust, HP increased. a tuned header is always with a pipe is the same length, so that any discharge of exhaust gas, the main lines meets at a different time. if you think about it makes sense. straight pipes with this is even better, but straight pipes alone, while helping to reduce back pressure would be not so effective.
