setting the ignition timing, how does the vacuum hose connected at the dealer they relate?
I drive a 390 Ford Motor. I tried the total timing at 36 degrees with a timing light. I did this without disconnecting the vacuum lines. Only until the wires connected to the light, revved it up there without first adapted and traders. I do not know much about these things. Is my timing set correctly or not?
The vacuum advance should disengaged and blocked before this adjustment. it decreases in ignition advance vacuum. You need ot back and set the timing.
