Can you match the mileage for Cobb Access Port A 08 Impreza 2.5i for it?
My father gave me the Subaru for highschool. He leaves in the winter for its AWD compared to its FWD Acura. I want to mod it but my father says that it decreases only a waste of money and mileage . Do He said if I (cold HKS turbo, intercooler Perrin, Perrin catback exhaust, exhaust pipes Perrin, KN air intake, Perrin BOV, etc.) these mods engine it should be the same Mileage city will receive: 20 Highway: 27 He says if it increases by 1 or 2 is fine. Can I tune for mileage? If not, what other way can I get mileage with these mods? Thank you!
The gas consumption in a WRX is dependent on how you drive than what you have to change. Given that change Your car for performance, you'll get 20mpg or less:) Your Dad is primarily concerned with gas mileage, so my guess would be that he does not even go into boost, so much so that the mods are almost no effect on gas consumption have while driving. On a side note - you can make a proper tune! They are serious risking damage to your engine with a new turbo and intake, if it is not in tune. On another side note - this car was always a waste of money if he is more concerned about fuel consumption and performance.
