Backfire through Carb. Full throttle?
1972 Chevelle 350th Rebuilt carb, no vacuum leaks, timing before TDC is set at 6 degrees (as stated by the manual and checked were). As soon as the throttle punch, backfired badly. Flames shoot. Not gunna do it again until I figured out why, and your help is greatly appreciated figure! Cross-wiring? Low voltage? To have fallen far? Maybe you need the timing advance A Lil 'Bit counter by turning the distributor, while the rotor exists, or what? Want to know what this is and why. Thanks 1972 Chevelle 350th 47K original miles on motor with a fundamentally new MSD HEI distributor there. I thought it would be well, install out of the box but may need to adjust something? Tell me this please. Firing order is correct and the distribution is accurate and not 180 degrees dropped. I doubt the timing chain jumped, because it sounds good and I heard it is hard to jump, but that's my problem. It takes revenge by carb at full throttle. Harte Time it starts up too.
Check fuel pressure, low pressure (if any) timing, carb base gasket.
